Gorgeous Mid Century Modern / Danish Modern style desk designed by American legend Paul McCobb for Planner Group and manufactured by the Winchendon Furniture Company, dating from the xxxxs. Lovely solid maple wood construction, (no veneers). Single column of two large deep drawers. Original brass cone pulls. The finish on the exposed maple wood is in good vintage condition with regular surface wear which is typical of an original finish. There are a couple of darker marks and surface scratches clearly visible in photos that in our opinion add some character to the piece. Beautiful architectural form to the splayed Danish style tapered pencil legs.
An absolute must own piece for any admirer of Mid-Century Modern or Danish Modern furniture.
In overall very good original vintage condition.
